I have heavy hair to my waist, I work in a nursing home, it never falls out. I use large bobby pins that I have shown to others and they come in a variety of sizes which can't be beat when I'm working 12 hour shifts or getting ready while others are still asleep. The smaller ones always failed, never seen them in stores, they're about twice the size of what you usually find, need a bit of practice, try on wet hair.

Love it. That works great. I've worn it so many times and it hasn't lost its shape like some other people have claimed. I use it as a twist where you keep turning your hair in the middle. I've tried another method where you just spread the hair evenly over the donut at the base of the ponytail, but I prefer the twisted method. And it hasn't lost its shape yet. I also get a lot of compliments. I have very long hair so with a big donut you get a pretty big bun, which is what I wanted.

I've had a hard time finding a donut small enough for my shoulder length straight fine brown hair. I think I ordered a VERY large one. The puffiness seems great, I just think it makes me like the character of Dr. Sue look. I have VERY long hair and have had a hard time doing it more than once. I think girls with normal hair length have it easier. I'm not sending it back because I can cut my hair and then try to use it. Because it looks cute.

My daughter has to tie her hair in a bun before her dance performances. Her hair is so thin that it wouldn't be possible without the help of this handy little gadget. It works that easy. All we did was tie her hair into a regular ponytail with a holder and thread all of her hair through the center of the donut. Once I've done that, you can arrange the hair around the donut however you like. Once this is all in place, add another ponytail clip around the bun to keep the hair from moving. Voila -
