Hello! I have struggled with chronic pain and multiple chronic illnesses (mainly due to severe sleep deprivation, a condition I have struggled with for around 29 years). 4 to 6 hours if I'm lucky, or 4 to 8 hours over the entire 2 to 3 day period and then insomnia again) this can happen with or without sedation. On rare occasions I've struggled with up to 5-7 days of no sleep followed by a severe breakdown no matter how long I've been awake without ever feeling like I've slept at all. As most people know, lack of sleep/sleep deprivation has a negative impact on health. For me, this would result in "relapses" and an increase in chronic pain, mainly due to lupus, and a worsening of one of my illnesses. Also, it causes mental fatigue/problems due to lack of sleep). After getting the body pillow I had 2 methods I wanted to try: 1. I put the body pillow next to me and wanted to see if I could lengthen my sleep and decrease the amount of sleep. attack me It helped with all of that (tests showed reduced inflammation scores), but whether I was just resting or getting some sleep, it definitely reduced my pain and I even had less stiffness when I stood up. 2. I love pillows and like most people who sleep with 2 pillows, I have a queen bed and would put 2 pillows on it and then 2 more pillows. The problem I kept having was basically that at some point during the night the 2 bottom pillows would either get stuck or fall between my mattress and the headboard causing discomfort and if I was lucky enough to fall asleep it would me wake up . By first putting a body pillow on my mattress and then putting two queen size pillows on top, this solved my pillow problems. I definitely plan to buy another body in hopes of improving my sleep.
