Weak plastic handle, stainless steel blade. scratches my glass.

Why make a stainless steel glass cleaning blade!? I was thinking of a stainless steel handle and a REAL blade like silicone or ANYTHING but NOT METAL! I am very disappointed and angry with this product. Even when I received it, the blade was bent. So I couldn't even use it without royally wrecking my tank.
