My son is 12 years old, 5'1" tall, 128 lbs. I bought him a size XL which according to the size chart is a size 18-20 and is suitable for a child aged 13-14 .My son usually wears youth tops from size L to XL.This shirt is snug for him so it should fit but it seemed a little short on the torso. If your kid has a short side like me then it's the top the thigh. The tightness of the shirt made it difficult for him to put on and take off but that was to be expected. I bought this for his Halloween costume (he was Drift from Fortnite). This shirt fits my son's arms. and the torso, like Drift's shirt, is very tight. It was only 25 degrees and it was semi raining here in northeastern Indiana that night so we needed something to keep my son warm without ruining his suit. This shirt did just that. The only thing that counteracted the cold were his fingers through his fingerless gloves. His chest and arms stayed fried! d initially also because he has asthma, which only showed up when he had a bad cough last year. I took his winter coat with me just in case, but he didn't even need it! All he needed were his other gloves! All in all this is a great shirt that all kids who live where it's cold in the fall and winter should have to keep their chest warm and ward off colds!
