Does exactly what I need. I really only use it in dock mode at home, but it still works fine in portable mode even though I only use wired headphones in portable mode. I have this at home when I'm gaming on the dock and want to carry my headphones when I'm within reasonable distance of my console for games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, Warframe, Overwatch, MH Rise, and horror games. like Alien Isolation or Outlast. . Things where sound effects and music really play a big part in the experience. This works great with both of my headphones that I use. If they don't connect automatically, press a button and I'm paired. The sound quality is quite good, nothing special, but it does the job. The device is a little clunky and not unobtrusive, but that's normal in the home. I could see it being a bit more annoying on a wearable device. So for a docked game I can definitely recommend it. You'll find something thinner and more compact in portable devices.
