I bought this to use with a Shapeoko 4 XL CNC router. It is ideal for canals. I like the length of the arms as it gives me more room to work since the track spacing is fixed. Because they are long, they can also accommodate material up to 50 mm (1.97 in) thick. I also like that it has a spring under the tensioner. I don't have this feature in any of the other clips I have. The high strength 6061 aluminum alloy is useful when you are cutting something hard as it can withstand the pressure of the cutter.
