There's nothing quite like coming out of quarantine and admitting that pants don't fit anyone. For my son, it's not so much too many snacks or sourdough as finally being an adult. After cramming himself into 4T shorts for years, he's passed the 50 pound mark and needs shorts and pants to match. Also, he had maybe 1 pair of shorts in his pile of school uniforms so I'm struggling to replace these now small items since in-person classes resumed. Those are great pants. Outside they are quite normal/dark blue. There's nothing special about them. Inside you'll find the classic red, white and blue Hilfiger stripes at the waist. This waistband is also adjustable with pull tabs, which in my opinion should not be missing in any children's pants. I really like them but the price is a bit high for me and my budget. I've seen my kids chew on clothes and uniforms and I'm just scared of spending that much money on school pants.
