I recently bought this. I wanted to elevate my laptop so I don't have to look at it while using it. My laptop was starting to overheat and I was starting to develop bad posture from looking down while using it. This stand certainly solves those problems and still looks very stylish/modern. The only thing I complain about is: First, the fan is a bit noisy. Nothing to get used to, but still a bit annoying at first. Second, there is no friction on the stand's legs. So if you want to put it on a table or flat surface, don't move it too much.
