This unit was perfect for previous vacpan. Installation was easy, but once I finished screwing it into the bottom of the cabinet, the spring chain kit popped out of the peg mount. I had to take it apart and fiddle with the kick lever a few times and the spring kept resetting. So I went to my shop, drilled a hole in the holder's plastic peg and screwed in a thin screw, being careful not to break the whole thing in the process. The little stylus cover designed to keep the nib from coming loose was ridiculous. Luckily I have a drill and I was able to fix the spring. Without him there was a return of the city. Looks like the factory missed a step.
