I really like this headset. I ordered it after looking at many reviews online and it seems like it has been redesigned or this pack just has more features. I thought it would have Micro-USB, but I'm happy to report that it charges via USB-C and comes with a quality braided cable. The included aux cable is very nice and flexible and braided too, but be sure to follow the instructions to connect the headset end to the headset. I forgot to do this and was having weird audio issues with the mic until I fixed it. It also came with a mic windscreen (the foam thingy on the mic) which completely eliminates the issues some people have experienced when it's windy or when they're speaking loudly. good bass. It won't blow you away like a true surround sound system with quality speakers, but it sounds very good and I really enjoy listening to music on it. In comparison, it definitely beats the AirPods in terms of sound quality. So if you're looking for a good headset and like the quality level of the AirPods, this would be a good upgrade. I haven't had any issues with the battery yet because I haven't fully drained it, but I've heard it last about 15 hours. The comfort is the best in its class. It fits my head snugly and doesn't fall off easily without squeezing my head like a vise. The metal headband construction is very solid and I don't think it will lose its ability to fit snugly around my head anytime soon, but I'll update this if it does. The build quality is phenomenal, it's very solid, all the foam pieces feel thick and I know they won't shrink over time. I can feel the bandage on my head, but it's very light and doesn't cause any discomfort after long gaming sessions. The only problem is that the leatherette earpads can get decently hot after a while if overheated, but I just sit in my room with the fan on and that doesn't happen to me. Although it might not be much fun in the heat of summer. It looks great, it doesn't look like a gaming headset or anything, and I like that the mic can be detached when I don't need it. I really like the matte black look and it looks very nice and feels premium in person. The microphone is good, although not the best it could be. My friends don't have hearing problems and I sound clean, the sound is just a bit robotic and makes my voice a little deeper and a little flatter when it loses some of the high notes. I hope future iterations will be updated as the microphone components are not incredibly expensive and quality will benefit greatly. If Corsair decides to be really nice, they might even sell a better mic since it's detachable, but I doubt that will happen. Compared to other headsets I've had, this is the best I've had. I had a 1st gen Turtle Stealth 700 and can't speak for the 2nd gen but it fits my head much better, has much better sound quality and looks much better (much better than Turtle Beach 2 in my opinion) .generations) . ) and much better built. Turtle Beach 2nd Gen has USB-C, metal headbands and they probably sound better so they'll probably be a much better competitor. As I said, they sound better than AirPods, but AirPods are obviously in-ear headphones that belong to a different class of comfort. Many users reported that the microphone doesn't work when using Bluetooth, but whether it's an updated version or something else, it works great. to me. I can make calls on my cell phone via Bluetooth. However, at least on iOS and macOS, only play/pause of the multifunction button works. You should be able to double and triple click to skip/back, but all it does is pause it for me, so hopefully that gets fixed. Another thing that would be nice in a firmware update would be to add battery indicator support on iOS and Android operating systems and make it easier to view in the iCUE app on a computer. It would be really nice to be able to look at the connected device and know what type of battery it has, as there's no button to show you the battery level or anything like what some headphones do. All in all, this is a really good headset and very worthwhile if you have the money. With great sound, great accessories, amazing comfort and build quality, this headset is hard to beat.
