The blocks themselves are made of very dense plastic and I believe they will support significantly more weight. I can't say too much about such a simple idea that can be recreated using wooden blocks or even bricks, but these durable plastic blocks give you a much better aesthetic. , adjustable, very strong and durable, with rubber pad to protect the floor and prevent slipping.
