Attractive, adaptable, works as intended. The aluminum teeth are a little soft to the touch and will wear and round if misaligned when tightened. I see some signs that dressing isn't quite right the first time. Not a big problem if you're careful, but timing the teeth before tightening them requires considerable attention. Once tightened properly, it is very stable. However, as the teeth wear out, this can create some play in the joints, which can be annoying. Another thing that isn't perfect is the ergonomics of the handle. It's quite thin and I have a feeling it might introduce unnecessary camera movement. If it were a small slider, the camera would be easier to stabilize on the pan axis when held. The trade-off, I think, is that the device folds very nicely on its own, but I could wrap something around the end to fill my hand better. As they say, overall a good product and I'm happy with it.
