Review on PANASONIC LUMIX GX8 Mirrorless 4K Camera Body with Dual I.S. 1.0, 20.3MP & 3 Inch Touch LCD - DMC-GX8KBODY (USA BLACK) by Kathleen Roy

I am a beginner and at best a beginner/intermediate photographer. I wanted something with a better sensor/quality than most dedicated camcorders and also start taking some good photos here and there when I travel for work. I really liked this camera and for me it was better than the GH4 in terms of photo/video quality. It was also smaller and easier to hold than the GH4. Felt like a great camera for taking videos and photos on the go. The shared mic/remote port was a deal breaker for me. Instead of a 3.5mm mic port and 2.5mm remote port, it had a common 2.5mm jack. I wanted to use the remote and mic at the same time so that wouldn't work. If it wasn't for that, it would be the perfect camera/camcorder solution. Instead of using the GX8, I'm currently considering the GH4, or I'm considering waiting for the GH5 to come out.
