Just the right size to use in the kitchen! I painted/'distressed' them first, to give them an 'old' look. One is on the wall by the oven - to hang pot holders/oven mitts. The other one is by the kitchen sink - keeps the state-shaped cutting board handy, along with a small bouquet dried flowers/herbs, kitchen towel, etc.
