It's not so much the metal as the stitching although I can't prove it's actually stainless steel and at the price I'm not sure secure. The rose gold plating on it is fine, it hasn't chipped or anything like that. The edges are bad. They are useless, not sharp, crooked. Especially curved cuticle protectors, they are rough and square at the ends. I have jewelry and knife sharpeners so I tried to fix some of them but they are not worth the trouble. All in all, it's just not worth the money.
