Review on πŸ’» MasterBox NR200P Computer Case by Cooler Master (MCB-NR200P-KGNN-S00) by Wiktor Czerwiski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

ATX power supply placed in close proximity to the motherboard, which was an ASUS B75M-plus (height 226, width 198). The gap of 15 millimeters stayed constant between the cooler fan and the video card. LED cooler from Cooler Master, the GeminII M5, with a 120 mm 25 mm fan in place of the standard 15 mm one. When more fans are used, the case ventilation is significantly improved, and there is no longer any risk of overheating.

Pros
  • Workmanship of the highest caliber and sturdy, long-lasting metal. While lifting the front panel, which is typically armored, you should be prepared to make significant efforts to exert your physical strength: Lovely small Mini-ITX case that enables the installation of any large video card as well as some models of Micro-ATX motherboards. The maximum size of compatible Micro-ATX boards, as measured with a tape measure, is as follows: height up to 226 millimeters (there are not many such Micro-ATX models, but they are available for any socket); width up to 203 millimeters when installing a long video card VERTICALLY, as shown in your photos. It is necessary to rotate the power supply in order to install wider motherboards of up to 244 millimeters. However, doing so will make it impossible to install a long video card in a vertical orientation; instead, this will be possible only in a horizontal orientation below, as is customary. Small video cards with two fans can be placed in any direction and with any width of motherboard; however, the power supply might need to be flipped horizontally. Be prepared to work with a grinder and a screwdriver to saw through a portion of the front wall in order to install a long video card VERTICALLY as well as a large ATX power supply instead of SFX. This will allow you to install both components at the same time. Sawing is not something you should be concerned of because the front panel will hide everything and make it look nice. The kit provides you with the flexibility to make your selection from options such as tempered glass and a metal door fitted with a dust filter. A riser of superior quality for placing the video card in a horizontal orientation is included in the package.
Cons
  • 1. Installing a standard ATX power supply is not possible; you will need to modify the one you have yourself. 2. The audio cable that connects to the front panel is too short; the cable management could have been more aesthetically pleasing if it were a few centimeters longer. 3. Complete fans are terrible, and you should sell them on eBay as soon as possible. 4. Just like with any other miniature case, you should be prepared to spend a LOT of time building, tweaking, and managing the cables. But believe me when I say that the rewarding end result was well worth the effort.
