Review on ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Ceramic Dinner Plates for Table Bakeware by Phil Casey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Suitable for demented or elderly people

They are very strong and heavy. We've read that using red plates and bowls is helpful when older people or people with dementia have a reduced appetite. This makes sense because eyesight deteriorates and older people tend to eat soft, light-colored foods: mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, pasta, etc. Light-colored foods are more visible on red plates and appetite increases. In addition, the color red seems to attract both children and the elderly. That worked for us. So if you are trying to tempt your loved one to eat more, you can try this.

Pros
  • Kitchen and dining room
Cons
