Review on ๐Ÿงค Sugoi XL Unisex Firewall Glove by Linda Ballek

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor design, not very warm for many gloves

Bought these for cold and possibly wet runs. I took them on a 30F run and found a couple of things - the cuff is very tight making it difficult to put the gloves on and off, the fingers are very bulky as mentioned in another review making control over any device with small buttons (like my iPod Shuffle) is impossible (and it doesn't have conductive touchscreen fingertips), the nose-wiping material isn't comfortable at all (it's like wiping your nose with a diaper - I prefer fleece), and the gloves really weren't any warmer than the cheaper and thinner pair from another brand (Mountain Hardwear). Then I took them to New York for a few days and most of the grip went away (silicone or rubber SUGOI on my fingertips) - literally, the letters came off. long enough for my large hands (several other brands have XLs that are big enough for me) and that the reflexes really work.

Pros
  • Lab, safety and work gloves
Cons
  • Piggy bank price
