Straight out of the box, 2 cats came through the side opening. Both cats are large 12-14 pounds. Both are suitable at the same time. I would not recommend wearing 2 at a time for long periods of time. Carried a 14 pound gun around the house for a while and was very comfortable with him and me. It seems well done. Good strong network. Zippers can be a problem if not taken care of. There are tension points in the corners. When traveling with your pet, they can comfortably lie on their side and fit under the seat. There is also a strap that can be attached to the luggage handle. The small mesh window on the front is great for quickly adding some pets or water. In the event of a zombie attack or any other emergency where you need to escape quickly, this is my first choice.
