I used to use foam coated clips to hold the duvet in place. This caused corners to jam, which has always annoyed me. I bought two sets of these fasteners for a duvet. The 8 blue bars are at the corners and center of all four edges (with the 8 white bars being placed in the same place on the lid). I've found that this helps keep the edges aligned. They were very easy to iron by following the video instructions on the company's website. Both the blanket and bedspread were now together. The clasps are tight and won't come loose overnight. I also haven't showered since I put the snaps on but will be back to update my review when I do. (My quilt is part of the system and has existing incompatible buttons. Adjustments had to be made to place the corner holder buttons.)
