The harness broke in less than 2 months

I rarely write product reviews but the reason is an inadequate product designed to protect the child. I bought this helmet for my daughter's birthday. It fit well, was easy to adjust and seemed like a good choice. However, having only worn it for cycling, with no accidents, bumps, etc., in less than two months the strap came loose rendering it unusable. If the straps don't stay attached during normal wear, what happens in a crash or accident? Thank you Revain for the amazing return policy; will choose another manufacturer for a replacement and I do not recommend anyone to buy this for their child.
