They're a little bulky, but they have to meet the USB-C specification while being strong enough to withstand repeated use. There aren't really any other options, but you don't need any other options because they seem right. The only downside is bulkiness, but that's necessary so as not to compromise on performance or durability (and you don't want to make those compromises, so do it).
