Great if not broken

Not only are we rusty and have a small crack, we also have a zipper on our head and honestly I can live with a crack but I bought it for my daughter who has just started horseback riding therapy is in love and wants her horse but we can't live but when i tried to do the release pin under the pedals it popped all the way out and the pedal now swings freely and if we manually lift the mechanism, what , when she looks battered inside, can't use it, she was able to use it on straight hard surfaces, but nothing else disappoints as I don't want to send it back now that she's in love
