Description of Nokian Tires Nordman 8 195/55 R16 91T winter

Offering balanced performance on snow and ice, Nokian Nordman 8 is a studded winter tire for small family hatchbacks, sports sedans and coupes that the manufacturer positions as a budget and quality alternative to products from the flagship Hakkapeliitta line. Motorists who choose to use Nordman tires will probably appreciate their predictability and precision in slippery conditions, as well as traction in warmer weather. The novelty of the winter season 2021/2022 Nokian Nordman 8 (Nokian Nordman 8) received a directional symmetrical design of the Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8 model, which at one time topped the ratings of independent comparative tests of European publications. At the same time, in the model range, it will replace the Nokian Nordman 7 tires, launched into mass production four years earlier. The Eco Stud 8 stud concept is responsible for the high level of longitudinal and lateral grip properties of the Nordman 8, adapting to changeable winter weather. thereby softening their impact on the road surface. The optimized placement of the anti-skid studs throughout the tread has given the Nokian Nordman 8 maximum grip on ice, so that the driver can predict the car''s behavior on slippery surfaces when changing lanes and during overtaking. A hard layer of rubber compound under a layer adapted to low winter temperatures securely fixes the studs in the tread blocks, and also stabilizes handling on dry, cleared surfaces. The updated wear-resistant rubber compound helps the tires withstand prolonged increased loads on rough roads. Eco Stud cushioning pads reduce rolling noise and extend stud life. Nordman 8 is factory studded to ensure the quality and durability of both tires and studs. The brake boosters located on the back of the tread blocks contribute to the increase in tire grip during braking. Their serrated pattern increases the contact surface, which, in fact, improves traction, especially on snow. Self-locking 3D sipes increase the rigidity of the wide blocks in the shoulder sections, says a Shina Guide technician. This solution improves handling in corners and the accuracy of Nokian Nordman 8 reactions during sharp maneuvers. Support diagonal three-dimensional sipes in the central part of the tread increase the structural rigidity of the tire, so that it responds faster to steering turns, thereby guaranteeing precise and safe handling. You can buy Nokian tires in the Market-Shina tire and wheel online store. ru. Winter tires and summer tires are always in stock, we offer a low price and a complete catalog of tires for all passenger tires. We give a guarantee for Nokian car tires from the factory

I cant believe I paid for it, the quality is disgusting.

When it impacted the hole, it burst. Nothing happens when cars approaching from behind fall into this hole. Only a one-year warranty extension; not covered under warranty. I won't speak with Nokian again in the future.

Pros
  • good rowing
Cons
  • Not for our highways are weak courts and delicate sidewalls.

Perfect product for any user!

I hope to evaluate the main advantages in the future, since we have not yet seen the winter. The spikes are deeply planted. The price is adequate. A little noisy (I think due to the presence of additional spikes), good grip.

Pros
  • Value for money
Cons
  • Didn't find

Today we got to put our hands on winter tires for painted casting. Of the 4 wheels, only one is normal. 3 out of 4 on balancing "jumped" the profile, the rubber is not very smooth. One wheel, as a master, did not turn, could not remove loaders less than 80 grams. This did not surprise him, since after the transfer of production to 2022, he did not meet good kits and does not recommend nordman from a 2022 Nokia to his friends . The photo shows the result of balancing. Size r15 205/70

Pros
  • Don't know
Cons
  • Not flat tires. Jumps when balancing

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

Good value for money. With its pros: Strong and stable. Holds the road well. For the entire first winter, it never failed. Spikes in place. Let's see how it behaves further. With its cons: No. Except noise. Well, what do you want from studded winter tires.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Recommend to buy Got pros: Moderately noisy, good handling on roads with various surfaces and corners Has cons: Expensive (2670 per item). For some reason, there are no markings "92T" and "XL" on the tires, previously they were present on the Nordman-5.

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

Good workmanship for a tier 2 tire. We'll see how it performs in the winter. I wanted to buy Hakku 8, but this one was 4000 cheaper per set, but it looked the same.

Pros
  • Soft, but at the same time good handling on the pavement, it rows well in the mud too.
Cons
  • Asphalt noise like an airplane. Although for spikes this is the norm.

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

At 14", on full ice (especially on asphalt), there is no better nokian hakkapeliitta 8 rubber, but it is discontinued. They searched, overpaid, bought it. At competitions, since last year, Nokian Tires Nordman 8 appeared (an exact copy of the premium hakkapeliitta 8), the results show as the original. Over the years, the community (vk. Com/beDRIFTcup) has run in all worthy types of rubber. This one is at the top of the food chain. Personally, I now have a hakka 8 on a combat vehicle, and a…

Pros
  • Ice, lake, controlled skids: one can say the fastest (identical to nokian hakkapeliitta 8, which was discontinued), spikes are resistant, there are a lot of spikes, lamellas are literate, indicators.
Cons
  • None in the first episodes. If nothing changes in the future in production, then further, respectively.

Excellent product, the best quality.

I did not immediately decide to buy this rubber, I was embarrassed by the reviews about the side drift. In fact, after the purchase, I carefully began to test it, intentionally exceeding the reasonable, according to sensations, speed on corners - as a result, I personally have no questions about demolition. It rows perfectly in the snow, compared to the previous Formula Ice tires, it accelerates over snow slush definitely faster. Nordman 8 is a bit noisier than the Formula, but it also performs

Pros
  • They showed themselves well on loose snow and generally hold the road confidently.
Cons
  • The noise is slightly more than on the previous rubber, but this is more of a side effect of its merits.

Great value for the money, definitely recommended!

Guys, the main thing is to roll the spikes well) I bought four-wheel drive on the Audi A6, they were noisy during the run-in, of course, now everything is tolerable, well, or I’m used to it. I tried to ride 250 on them, the spikes did not fly out, there is little confidence, of course, at such a speed on them compared to a summer bear, and you rarely develop such speeds in winter. All the rebuilding, acceleration in the snow and braking please)))) surprise))) maybe I just threw off the old…

Pros
  • Holds the road very well
Cons
  • Noisy like all spikes, not a minus in fact

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Has pros: I left the first winter in Hong Kong on them, about 5000 runs, I compare with yokohama ice guard 55. Very quiet, you can't hear it in the cabin at all. Soft, now I ride like on a couch, just a buzz Holds the road well, a couple of times on the way to Sheregesh I went into sharp turns at an unusually high speed, but the rubber coped with dignity Departure from the garage complex up the hill and immediately onto the road, on the yoke I could only jump from acceleration, it was dangerous

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

For 15 years I didn’t drive on domestic tires and forgot that there is a buzzing of the top, but then I took it from for being in the store at the right time, and immediately remembered the old driving time in the domestic auto industry (. The level of rumble is tolerable, the brain can’t stand it, the radio needs to be made a couple of divisions louder. Has some pros: Soft but not bulky Does not roam in a rut It doesn't slap along cracks in the pavement like a deflated rubber ball…

A very strange tire. Its braking is very good. Acceleration is good only on clean ice, due to the number of spikes. Terribly noisy, I thought it would roll, but no . Terribly holds side slip. The slightest relief of an uncleaned road changes even on this rubber, the car has to be constantly caught. That's why I think this rubber is dangerous! I do not advise anyone to buy a front-wheel drive.

Pros
  • The number of spikes. Ice braking.
Cons
  • Noisy, terribly holds lateral sliding.

Poor quality, not worth the money.

tires I bought at the beginning of September, and these were the last remnants of a real khaki 8 (nenordman) with a lifetime warranty and for 4140/ piece in the amount of 185 / 65R14. In the store I compared it with Nordman 8: even without looking closely you can see the difference: the spikes are different, the sidewall and working surface are softer for deflection in Nordman, the rubber (material itself) is different to the touch. Yes, I have all the wheels from different batches and each one

Pros
  • test results are normal a lot of thorns drawing cute and the fact that these are tires that are produced by one of the recognized leaders in winter tires (and don’t understand who, like Hankook, who scored good reviews as a tire at a price of 2/3 of the price of the leaders, and then raised the price tag on par with Michelin, Nokia and Conti , and pretends that no one knows that the "legendary" 429 PyRS2 is spiked by local distributors and smaller tire dealers .
Cons
  • 1. PRICE jacked up due to shortage 2. Nokian SYSTEMATically provided specially prepared tires for tests, and now after all these scandals, falling sales, changes in management . it is trying to seriously pretend that its reputation has not suffered at all, that they are the same premium as before, and a brown puddle under their feet - it seemed to us 3. Very noisy (much noisier than the 200th NordFrosta), but not as noisy as the second KontiAysKontakt 4. No lifetime warranty like Khaki

I succumbed to the description of floating spikes and the promise of quiet rubber. Expectations were not justified. Size 225/60/18 suv Expected a lower level, read a lot of advertising. After the end of the season, I can add + for the reliability of the spikes. Everything is in place. This makes me happy. After all, the predecessors from Germany "spit out their teeth", already in the first season. And for the second season, all the spikes are in place. Added an asterisk.

Pros
  • The number of spikes. Two seasons are in place.
Cons
  • On the pavement, it makes noise just like the old five-year-old good year

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

Bought 185/65/15. I must say right away that we took tires, as most motorists do, according to our budget, focusing on the price-quality ratio! They paid attention to the reviews, but not much, because. no matter what "review" you open, there are always those who do not like "rubber", no matter what its manufacturer. When buying, they paid attention to the seemingly thin walls of the tire, although thickness measurements showed an average of 7-8 mm, like on the discontinued Hakkapelit 8. In…

Pros
  • Number of studs, tread, soft enough, holds the road well.
Cons
  • Noisy. The rumble in the cabin, when driving on asphalt, during the break-in, felt immediately.

An ideal product for any type of consumer.

the Siberian winter came, the snow was up to the belly, so I tried the rubber in harsh real conditions, total: ice and rolled snow by 5, dry snow a little less confident but still good, by 4.5, I don’t like asphalt, but in my village it will only appear in April). the tires are good, pulled me out of such snowdrifts on the Mazda 6, that the men on the 4wd looked askance at me), keeps the track very confident, maybe because of the size. one of the shortcomings is that it roams in dry snow, you…

Pros
  • It behaves perfectly there for which it was created
Cons
  • asphalt and yaw in dry snow
