Carl Schmidt Sohn's single server coffee maker has a single purpose - to make a cup of coffee - and does it brilliantly. First, the design is incredibly compact. It takes up half the space of Kuerig's own K-Mini single-cup machine and has fewer moving parts. Unlike the Kuerig, there is no separate water tank or K-Cup compartment. The top opens and has room for a K-cup in the front and a full cup of water in the back. After you download it, there is only one button on the machine. This is the height of simplicity. This little machine also outperforms the K-Mini in running faster and heating water. It won't replace a Kuerig who can service an entire office or make a few cups, but if you want a Creator just for you and your K-Cups, there's no good reason not to make it your choice.
