Be careful when disassembling. Spring can leave you. You have to tighten the spring. This is a perfect complement to the original keychain. Everything fits perfectly. It comes with a blank key. If the problem is with the metal part of your old key, you will need to remove the end cap and reinstall the old key. It is easily removed with a tiny prick or a small blunt nail and a light hammer. Just insert the old key in reverse order. The whole process took maybe 10 minutes and was very easy. Excellent purchase.
