If you are planning on using this product for a car seat, skip and save some money. I recently gave birth to a preemie and while in this hospital they did a carseat evaluation ( basically making sure my son can breath properly while in his car seat for an extended time). I was told to provide his carseat with any adjustments made. I had this product and was swiftly told that it is a terrible product to use in a carseat, not just for my son but any child. The person doing the evaluation (from the hospital itself) actually removed the product and threw it away instead of giving it back to me to return, because they are so against using them for safety reasons. So basically I purchased this and before it was ever once used it got thrown away for being below safety standards. Instead, the hospital advised placing one tightly rolled blanket on either side of my sons head while in his carseat until he is big enough to go without them (he was being sent home at a weight of 5lbs 6oz). Just save yourself some money and get two receiving blankets instead.
