Review on Hands Craft Miniature Dollhouse Pieces by William Groupp

I really had fun building this one, but it's definitely not as easy as it looks! Some parts look like they have the same shape either way, but they are NOT, so I installed a window on the side and a wall on the back, didn't think it would make a difference in the final assembly , but it definitely did, and I had to correct my mistakes! On the other hand, it was really interesting and fun to learn how to make all the cat toys and furniture. I'm following the instructions because I definitely want to make similar ones for future dollhouses! I didn't enjoy painting so many parts, mostly because the paint they contain doesn't bond well with plastic and some of the tiny pieces of wood are hard to knock out without breaking them, even after adding paint. I ended up just using acrylic paint from my own stash, didn't like the color that came with it (the colors are good but not the quality). I made some modifications so mine doesn't look exactly like the photo. ; I hate making plants so I just skipped most of them and didn't like the signage and murals that came with them so I made my own portraits of famous cartoon cats. The wallpaper and flooring were very cute and had a very interesting and innovative way of doing 3D grass! It comes with a fairly large plastic tree meant for the back but without the leaves it looks so much like a poltergeist tree that I had to poach it for another build!
