UPDATE: The projector stopped responding to the controller after the first day of use. Followed the customer service instructions to restart, repair the controller and even restart the projector, but nothing works. It seems to me that this projector could be a defective product and they need to work on their quality control. Between Epson EF12 and XGIMI Elfin, I chose XGIMI. Maybe my expectations were too high but I have to say I was disappointed. The 1080P picture quality seems good, but the contrast ratio is definitely not good enough. Even in a dark room, the image appears washed out. - The automatic keystone correction is not accurate and will be corrected for no reason. Manual correction is the only way you can rely on this device, making automatic correction useless. I'm not sure if the auto-correct feature is buggy or not. - The brightness seems normal, but I doubt it's 800ANSI. - I don't complain about the sound, because I simply connect the TV speaker via Bluetooth. Using Harman Kardon speakers is a very good trick. This projector is pretty quiet during operation and has a pretty nice design. If you are looking for a mini projector, XGIMI Elfin is a good option in its price range. However, I have to say that you can easily get the best projector for this price if you don't care about the size. - No complaints about the sound, because I only connect the TV speaker via Bluetooth.
