i bought these to cover my nose and neck when i wear my helmet to ride my sports bike. it doesnt get too much hotter than a helmet usually would on a warm day. breathing isnt difficult and im able to get the air flow i need through my vents as i should even with the gaiter on. not thick matieral and pretty comfortable. can be used in warmer weather as well as colder weather
