Let me tell you a little bit about this toy. As for the resemblance to a real monster cookie, I think that's right. The functionality of the doll is as expected. You can use your hands and mouth if you're skilled enough, but I wasn't impressed with the functionality. I bought this doll because the review said it was pretty durable. Well I have used a doll to play aggressively with my pup and he has yet to tear, tear or damage it at all. If you have an infant or toddler that you are purchasing this doll for, you expect the doll to remain in pristine condition throughout your child's life. I took him outside and stomped on him just to prove to my pup that the fun can't last forever. To my advantage, no damage is known. I have to say that overall I am very happy with my purchase and am considering buying all of the Sesame Street characters and hosting a backyard game for my neighbors who will never show up. 10/10 would buy again. But it never goes bad because this doll will live forever. Long after humans have left this earth, my cookie monster doll will roam the land bringing joy to any pup/or child it meets. Update: my pup completely destroyed this doll. Ignore everything I said
