I used to try to calibrate the white point of ASUS and LG monitors with Spyder - LG was too warm and ASUS too green. I turned on the Calibrite with DisplayCAL and it immediately recognized the hue shift while Spyder thought they were both 6500K. They're still a bit biased (the nature of displays), but a lot smaller and a lot more tolerable than before. I can't wait to get to my graphic work now! Not to mention the games look way better. I got the Plus because (it seems) it has to deal with higher brightness levels, but if you're in doubt and don't have bright monitors you can probably get away with a Pro model.
