Review on πŸ”Š LOXJIE A10 Red Class-D Stereo Power Amplifier: High-Power Audiophile Level Amp Chip TPA3116 for Desktop by Doug Hammett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for my setup

I'm not an expert Pros Small form factor (replaced my Denon AVR which took up the entire desk it's on now) Looks different, oddly shaped but looks good and me think it will age well. It may be a coincidence, but the triangular shape and logo complements my Audio Technica turntable Heat - Really Life? It works all day and doesn't get hot at all. Big, clear sound - it feeds two AIWA 150W 8ohm speakers - at its loudest when I turn it on it lasts about 7 hours no matter what level I set it at. no distortion Cons Minimalism There's only one input (due to the form factor it's totally forgivable, but I'm looking for a switch so I don't have to plug and unplug RCA jacks when switching from my turntable or DAC) No gain control (although not required, TBH) - in fact, the only control is the volume. There is some hissing or white noise between 9am and 1am, a bit below or above and there is no sound - maybe an expert can tell - when music is playing there is no hissing. The banana plugs on the back are a bit short, my banana plugs don't fit flush. Of all the receivers I've owned, this little amp is my favorite.
