To be honest I wasn't sure what glasses I needed, especially as I normally wear bifocals. They are so cheap that I started at 3.0 and increased them by 0.5 diopters to four. I've been happy with the quality and now have stronger reading glasses when my eyes keep getting weak, or stronger glasses for fine detail work like sewing or electronics repairs.
