The quality of the veil itself really surprised Very soft lace, very elegant, as in the photo. The veil didn't need to be steamed or ironed and looked great even after hanging for hours. My biggest criticism was with the comb. The comb is metal as advertised, but the teeth don't reach to the point that grabs your hair but are curved pieces of wire that are rounded at the bottom. Being rounded, they seem to slide out of the hair MUCH easier than a sharp-toothed comb, and even a plastic sharp-toothed comb would be preferable. Also, the comb's teeth were bent at awkward angles and the composition was completely flat, not curved to hug your head like most do. However, this is a small price to pay compared to the cost of a bridal veil. . I would still recommend buying this, it might just be worth buying a separate comb and prepare to replace it. Even then you come out and it really is a beautiful veil!
