Hope this lasts a while.

Was easy to install and about the same size as the old one. This one is a bit soft compared to what came out, but that may be due to age. A trick to installing on the brake pedal is to start the car and then press the brake pedal to get vacuum assist, otherwise it will be difficult to press when it's off.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Almost ok

Fits right into the body

Replaced a broken brake switch on my 2001 Integra with one of these. Worked like a charm as an OEM part. Slips right into the hole and stays in place. The only thing that could be easier would be if the part didn't break in the first place, but 20 years is a long time for a piece of plastic that hits every time the car slows down.

PERFECT FIT AND EASY INSTALLATION

2007 HONDA CRV REPLACED BROKEN AND THE FITTING WAS PERFECT AND THE INSTALLATION WAS GENERALLY EASY. I INSERTED IT INTO THE MOUNTING HOLE AND REMOVED MY DESTROYER PEDAL TO MAKE CONTACT AND STRENGTHEN IT INTO THE INSIDE HOLE. IT HAPPENS ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT. I DONE ONE ON ANOTHER VEHICLE A YEAR AGO AND KNOW IT WAS EXACT FOR THE APPROACH AND EASY INSTALLATION.

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Out of fashion

This is a polyurethane plug

The original Honda rubber bumper is glued to me. The connector on the clutch pedal for the disconnect switch fell apart and I couldn't start the engine. Almost cost me a finger to replace (try without removing the clutch pedal assembly). In the end it took about 5 minutes (2 nuts 12mm, 1 screw 12mm and a retaining clip for the clutch master cylinder). All that hassle for a tiny piece of plastic, a much-needed piece of plastic for 5 cents.

Quick and easy fix for Honda S2000

Found the brake lights on my Honda s2000 and the car battery died. A quick search led me to this part that broke. I managed to find her on the floor of the car. Installation was easy. Follow the brake/clutch pedal to the point where the pedal presses a button. Just click on it. My car is 16 years old so the old part was quite fragile. Even if just one part of the pedal breaks, buy an extra one to replace the other, or make both at the same time to save on a dead battery in the future.

Better than expected!

I followed the reviews and chose this brand and am glad I did. I also ordered 2 because both footswitches were missing stops. I gave them a dose of spray (a very small amount) to help them get into place. it worked great. They "stood" in their places, and the deed was done. It took longer to drop the panels behind the pedals and get under the dash. Once I found out where they were going. It was easy. They seem like a good OEM replacement. My application: 2002 RSX 5sp base model

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • not the best

Came to our 2007 Honda Fit-S to find the brake lights on and a dead battery. If this is the case and it is a brake clutch stop, you can usually find pieces of a small plastic stop on the driver's side floorboard. This part stops the pin that goes through the hole in the brake pedal axle. If it's missing, the pin will go through and keep the light on, even with the keys removed from the ignition. The hardest part of the installation for me was removing the Fit's bottom plate to get to the top of

Fits Honda S2000 Body and Fairing

Fits Honda S2000 (2005 although this part will fit all model years). The installation itself wasn't difficult. The hardest part was getting the body into position. (I'm not a big guy, but the S2000 is a small car.) IMPORTANT NOTE: For other S2000 owners (and anyone with a manual transmission), I recommend purchasing an additional quantity of the part. Mine had a cracked brake pedal bracket but when I checked the clutch pedal bracket it was also very brittle with age and crumbled easily. (The…
