Nice addition to Bolt EV

My new Bolt EV didn't have a dead pedal and the floor mats didn't cover where my foot was supposed to be so I got that and it works great. The "glue" that came with it is useless, but it comes off easily. I added velcro on the back of the elastic to keep it on the carpet.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Upgrade available

It was good value for money. Very easy to install

Overall it was good value for money. Very easy to install. Looks good in my car. But the glue that attaches the stainless steel bezel to the black plastic base is very weak and rarely applied. When I took it out of the packaging, it partially came off. It's ok though, I applied the glue myself and it stayed. Otherwise there are no complaints.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • No instructions

Appears to be factory installed with no stainless steel trim.

Metal glue is a joke. The metal was already stripped when it arrived so it came off clean. This was good for me as I was only going to use the rubber part anyway. The setup looked factory installed after I attached the velcro hook to the back of the pedal and attached the pedal to the carpet with velcro.

  • Cool product

Thickness and tape

I installed it on my 2017 Ford Focus. Looks good, I like it. Cons: The panel is a bit thin (thickness could be 0.05 inch would be better). The 3M double-sided tape that comes with the pedal cover will not work on carpet. I add 2 strips of 1/2" wide 3M Velcro which will stick to the carpet better. Cost me over $5.00. Note: Accelerator and brake pedal covers which I purchased separately (they are not included with this order )

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Only available in white

Ribbon quality is very poor. I proceeded to remove the plastic stopper covering the double sided tape and the entire step of tape came off immediately. I ended up using 3M velcro to install it in my car. The metal top was bent when shipped but it was cheap enough so I just bent it back. But it still looks good in the car. If it cost more than $10 I'd be upset enough to return it, but I'll see how it holds up for now.

Pros
  • . Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Not pretty but it works

Very cheaply made but it works. The one I received happened to have a small hole punched in the metal plate making it look even cheaper than usual. I was hoping that the metal plate could be removed from the rubber part, but it seems to be glued on pretty well. I removed the adhesive and attached my Velcro to the back like one of the other reviewers did, so I can't comment on how well the adhesive works. Overall it's not looking good but I'm glad I have a place to stay in my Nissan Rogue now.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some problems

Must have for your car!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Mitsubishi cuts corners and doesn't offer things like footmuffs/plates/mats like 99% of automakers do. Heck, they don't even offer real carpet. It's a cheap, compressed fiber/felt that looks like crap and takes months to decompose. I installed this panel with great ease and it is holding up well. I don't know why some are complaining about the quality. yes, the metal is thin but held in place with a rubber insert. He doesn't understand at all. And it's not an accessory…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Terrible quality BUT I LOVE IT!

Absurdly poor quality. When I received it, the "stainless" part was completely separated from the rubber. The adhesive strips on the back didn't cost anything either. However, I'm very happy with what I've been able to do with it. I threw away the "stainless" part and just used the rubber part with my own velcro on the back to attach my car's carpet. The result is a nice, durable rubber footrest that I was looking for but couldn't find! So if you need a rubber footrest, go for it. If you want a

Pros
  • One year trial period

  • Low maintainability

Fit for intended use - worked great

Read other reviews. In my car (Volvo XC70) you had to put something on the dead pedal because the OEM rubber floor mats didn't cover the dead pedal - it didn't make sense why not - as mud and water would slide off the dead pedal. pedal area and get under the mat. Plastic material was sewn onto the carpet in the existing pedal dead zone, but not raised high enough. So I added this to raise the pedal contact dead zone. The reviewer said she didn't care if the chrome was badly attached, all she…
