I would say the sound is very clear and complex, the picture was quite good. I was able to hear the details of my music with great control and detail, which is a revelation to me and incredible at this price point. The DAC in the unit is mediocre, not in the same league as the pre/amp. Might be good enough if you want to use it with Chromecast Audio. With a decent DAC and speakers, you're in audiophile territory. Add a Raspberry Pi based wireless streamer with USB DAC and Moode Audio and you're done. I tested it with Klipsh RP-600M, ELAC UF5, UB5 and DIYSG HTM-12. I have tried and tested many other tubes, DIY Hypex/Icepower, NAD and Parasound amps. I can honestly say that in my opinion this is by far the best integrated amp for the money. Fit and finish is OK for the money, nothing special. Reliability is unknown as warranty and support is a big question. I hope you never have to go this route.
