I didn't expect more than my money's worth from this great value vise and was not disappointed; I didn't get more than my money. The aluminum profile and rubber spacer are of acceptable quality for this application and if the magnets were of the same quality then this product would have my full support. But as other reviewers point out, the magnets are pathetically weak and sloppily adjusted, so most of them protrude at various angles above the extrusion surface and prevent the jaws from sitting flat in the vise. See attached picture. I ended up drilling out all the magnets and sealing them with epoxy. It's not that hard with a few tools and some care, but it certainly shouldn't be necessary. decent magnets and epoxy on hand) or if you don't mind picking them off the floor all the time.
