Since even the S7's 'flat' screen is slightly curved around the edges, those flat pieces of glass don't stick to the edge. there are several mm on each side with an air gap. I suspect dust will get in there at some point, but so far so good. In this case, in the future it may be necessary to use a plastic protector. I will update this review if anything changes. Otherwise it was very easy to use; the one I have on my Nexus 6 from Omoton works great.
