Review on Dorman 1590140 Ford Headlight Assembly - 2 Pack for Select Models by Karoly Reddick

These headlights are virtual clones of the original stock headlights on my 1997 F-150 with one major exception - the adjuster bushings (I'll call them by their names). There are three of them in each headlight and they are used to hold the lamp in the holder. Look at the pictures - the left block is equipped with a Dorman headlight and the left one is the original. On the original, pay attention to the two protrusions - they are used to fix the headlight in the bracket. Dorman's jack doesn't have it, so it just falls out. Swapped the new sockets for the old ones and it worked. You can remove your existing headlight and look at the sockets on the back to see if you have this problem or not. Check it.
