Review on 🍷 Efficient Wine Preservation: Le Creuset Flame Wine Pump and 3 Stoppers by Kristina Scott

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect received!

If you know a little bit about wine, you know that a little oxidation is good because it softens the wine a bit, especially if it's a younger red wine, and this becomes aeration called or aging. to breathe. After that, however, oxidation becomes the enemy and the wine will spoil if not drunk within a day. This device is taking a break. Replace the cap on your bottle, whether it's a real cork, a plastic cork or a metal screw cap, with one of these corks. The plug works like a one-way valve. Then use the pump to suck (almost) all the air out of the bottle. No oxygen? Without oxidation. No damage. I've been using mine for a few months now and wines aged a few days taste just as good as when first served. I haven't pushed it back yet in 5 days but I've been very satisfied.
