Love these dog boots! I have an English Foxhound with sensitive paws - need to check and wash your paws after walking. Weed, tiny bits of dirt, anything that makes her lick. We live in an area where the tarmac gets very hot, so I'm concerned. I measured her paws on paper and then measured with a ruler. She wears boots for 3 inch paws. big girl Our Beauceron wears a smaller size. Boots for dogs came quickly as they were in stock. I love bright orange! Silver reflector sewn into the fabric of the boot itself. The fabric is breathable, 2 adjustable straps fit snugly around the leg. The seams are sewn well. The bottom of the boot is designed for traction on uneven, slippery surfaces. Scooby-Doo no longer slides on hardwood floors. There is also grip in the toe area. I am enthusiastic about the workmanship and quality of the shoe. And it couldn't be easier to squeeze her paws into a boot. The boot extends below the back toe to prevent chafing. Your thumbnails are attached inside the boot - nothing rubs there either. I put the boots on her paws to see if they needed breaking in - she immediately walked to the front door. LoL, she had no problem adapting. A few high steps to get an idea - but that's about it. She is in love with her boots. She gets upset when I undress her to put her away. They easily wipe down with cloths for easy cleaning. But for dirt and grime, hand wash in cold water in sink, mild soap. Rinse well with cold water. Hang to dry. I will definitely buy her other boots from this seller/brand. She goes 3 miles on a typical day, but 10 miles or more when we're on the trails. I bought the little knee socks to wear with her boots - it helps her feet which are overly sensitive to grass - imagine a foxhound allergic to grass. ! We couldn't be happier!
