When they say "does not drip", they mean "does not drip". This is a beautiful, functional, non-drip glass teapot! The kettle was delivered quickly and well packaged. The first thing I did was throw it on my stone counter and to my surprise it survived - incredibly durable. I don't recommend you do this, but I did and this is my review. Brewing can be done on the stove or with hot water in a kettle. You can use tea bags, loose tea with infuser baskets or herbs directly in the kettle. Inside the spout is a metal strainer to filter out solid particles from spilled tea. The entire top and mesh filter can be removed for easy cleaning. It's a nice big size to make your daily serving of iced tea. The grip is nice and wide and fits my four fingers. I think I will have this kettle for a long time - a good purchase.
