I chose a low price so I have no regrets. However, I had to modify the clamp to attach it to the bike's handlebars. If I hadn't done that, it just wouldn't have fit in because it's not tight enough. And here is the plate. It is unlikely to protect itself to give you confidence that it will keep your electronic device of choice safe. I attached it with a dab of Gorilla Glue and a double sided padded pin (small square size). So the Diamond Plate is a good choice if you fancy a mod, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.
