Okay I've been considering buying this product for about a year and a half to two years but the price put me off so this gives you a little background. Growing up in the 90's, I was intimately familiar with the three major gaming platforms, arcades, home consoles and PC gaming. a time when, for one reason or another, I couldn't afford modern games. I love all genres, but it's very famous among friends, family, etc. I've always preferred the fighting genre, I play a little bit of everything, but this genre is my favorite, I'm not a professional gamer, I don't compete in tournaments , but I like single player, multiplayer and online games. In early 2018 I got myself a Nintendo Switch, bought a lot of games and controllers, but have always been interested in the arcade joystick. Power A and Hori are perhaps the two best-known companies when it comes to making officially licensed Nintendo Switch products. Obviously I've been down the internet rabbit hole on You Tube the website and even read Revain reviews looking for a decent arcade/fighting stick, only one problem: when it comes to Nintendo Switch, they have a decent selection but not high end brands developing for xbox or playstation but i knew who hori was and i knew real arcade pro aka rap for short and i was hesitant because of the money but after research i found it I found out that if you have a hobby with arcade joysticks you tend to get what you pay for and as far as quality goes this is one of the best quality joysticks for Nintendo Switch. Now that I bought it here is my rating and opinion Use it in fighting games although obviously there are a lot of them but in any arcade game or collection this arcade joystick has wide application. I like the weight, it's not heavy but not light either, it has a good average balance in that department, I like the way the joystick clicks and the spring returning to neutral feels good and works great, i like the feel of the buttons, everything seems responsive i didn't notice or see any lag. It has two rubber pads on the bottom that make it comfortable and lightweight if you prefer to use a stick on your lap. The chord length is great, you can sit well and have a decent distance from your TV, it's just a wonderful feel for a good product. The packaging is excellent, delivery on time, there were no problems with handling and care, there were no dents or scratches on the mailbox, you can see immediately who handled it, did it carefully. I definitely have no complaints, after looking at the thing for a few years I couldn't get enough of my purchase and in the switch version it is recognized as a professional controller and has the appropriate +/- as in the screenshot. and home button.
