. I bought this to wear with my new curling iron and I'm glad I did! I don't know if it's made out of a "heat resistant" material, but it's heat resistant, meaning it won't melt if briefly touched with a curling iron. It protects my hand but I still feel warmth through it. I would say for the price it works quite well and is good value. Seems to last a long time.
