I adore this dress. It has enough support with the tie in the front. It's much more modest then it appears in the picture. I was worried it would be too short but it's right above the knee. I'm 5,4 and got an xl. I don't want to know how much I weigh but I'm usually a size 12 and I could have gotten the large. The pattern is really cute and so are the ruffles. The straps are also adjustable for more support. It can also be dressed up a bit with a cardigan as I did in the picture. The material is a much higher quality than expected.
