Updated: Anker got back to me and sent me a replacement cable which so far works as advertised. Upgrade to four stars. I bought one of these to charge my MacBook Pro and for a cable that offers the highest data transfer speed. It's a thick, beefy cable that looks very suitable for the job. I've connected it to two different chargers and tried four ports, but it won't charge my laptop. Other cables in the same chargers and connectors worked. Must return. I'll consider updating this review if I get one that works.
