For those who have problems.

I read a lot of reviews on here before buying this one and a lot of them said the switched outlets wouldn't turn on. Mine didn't work at first either. Here's how I got mine to work: it took me a bit of fiddling to find the right setting for the load switch, I think mine actually turned out to be the opposite of the TV start up instructions, but start by turning one end on the setup . Observe the "switched" light when you turn on the trigger device. If the light switch does not turn on, try the switch on the other end. If it turns on, try the medium setting. If it turns on, you're done. If it doesn't turn on with a medium setting, go back to the last setting it worked on and you're good to go. My switched outlets still wouldn't physically turn on even though I had the light on until I turned on the load. She. I'm switching two active studio monitor speakers that draw current. The outlets didn't turn on until I tried booting with the speaker power switch on. Since then, sockets have been switching on and off every time, with or without a load. For those who say they don't turn off, I have about 2 1/2 minutes of waiting time before my power goes out. At first I thought they didn't turn off until I accidentally walked away for a while and came back to them. It took me a while to realize there was a delay. I'm pretty sure that's normal work, at least for me. I have a feeling that the latency may vary with the load - more load, less time - as the load discharges the capacitor circuit, but I haven't bothered to prove this. The bottom line is if you are switching a small load, such as B. a piece of computer hardware or a DVD player, try connecting a lamp to it and see if that helps. Otherwise great product! It has worked flawlessly for me since the shenanigans that brought it to life!

Pros
  • Power Strips and Surge Protectors
Cons

Good strip if you have multiple plugs, not sure if it saves energy.
